The Kortz Center Heist Out Now

The newest GTA Online update is finally out and we collated all the details you need to get you started on the Kortz Center Heist.

The Kortz Center Heist Details

• Art Studio: The Art Studio will set you back 4.7 million (unless you participated in the Fine Arts Program and/or have GTA+). Inside is the "gifted counterfeiter" called: Yong-Rae. As you pull off the heist, Yong-Rae paints convincing replicas to swap with the stolen museum pieces so the Kortz Center staff have no idea they’ve been robbed.
• Scoping the Kortz: Bypassing the museum's vault requires dealing with security teams, a new CCTV camera grid, and intersecting laser tripwires. As with Cayo and the Casino, the longer you spend scoping out the facility, the more entrances and custom prep missions you will unlock.
• Entry and Escape: There are four ways to enter to Kortz, via the roof, sewage tunnel, staff entrance and posing as delivery drivers. Escaping requires using either a modified Manchez, NPC controlled Annihilator Stealth or the new Armoured Caracara.
• Solo vs. Squad: The heist is fully playable solo, but bringing a crew unlocks Secondary Target rooms that solo players literally cannot access. More players also mean more duffel bags to haul out the extra loot.
• Mansion/Business Synergy: Owning certain upgrades to the mansion and businesses will add benefits to the heist finale. For example, the
  • Mansion Armoury: Receive an MKII weapon in your finale loadout
  • Mansion Vehicle Workshop: Upgrades the performance of escape vehicles
  • Mansion Security: They will distract police to lower your wanted level when escaping the Kortz
  • Bunker: Special Ammo and MKII upgrades in the finale
  • Arcade: Drone Station upgrade allows drones to be used in the finale
  • Agency/Terrorbyte/Garment Factory: Additional time when in the vault

Launch Week Rewards & New Cars

• New Vehicles: The update introduces a range of new vehicles for purchase at Legendary Motorsports and San Andreas Super Autos.

  • Grotti Cartuccia GT
  • Ocelot E-Stride
  • Benefactor Läufer
  • Grotti Veleno GT (available to GTA+ members only, will release July 23 for everyone else)
  • Vapid Caracara (Armored)
• Player Customisation: There are no new clothes, weapons, tattoos or hairstyles in this update.
• Tier 4 Career Reward: For players on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Enhanced), completing all Tier 4 Career Progress challenges will award the Vapid Caracara (Armored).
• Launch Week Bonuses:
  • A free Annihilator Stealth helicopter from Warstock Cache & Carry.
  • A free Vault Keypad upgrade on your Planning Board to practice hacking minigames.
  • The opportunity to steal a highly valuable Primary Target painting, The Outcome of Endeavour, on your first attempt over the next three weeks.

Creator Mode Updates

• For the map builders out there, the Mission Creator received massive updates. On current-gen consoles and PC, creators can now build inside interior spaces. The tool added sliding/rotating props, warp points (teleporters), and even zombies and ghosts ahead of a special Halloween Mission Series later this year.

Keep an eye on the community forums today. Early reports show that alongside this launch, Rockstar quietly rebalanced and nerfed payouts for older heists (including the Diamond Casino and Cayo Perico) to cap the meta around $2 million per run. Interesting choice and as we have more details, we will share them.
