Introduction
With the release of The Doomsday Heist update, players were called by Lester Crest to help stop an end of the world type problem. Through a collaborative purchase from the player and the IAA, the facility is used to set up and run the Doomsday Heist. Furthermore, the facility is used to store vehicles such as the Avenger, Khanjali, Chernobog, Thruster and RCV. Unlike previous businesses such as the Bunker, there is no on going operations outside of the heist.
Location and Upgrades
For the Facility, you will want to have a centrally located base as missions will take you all over San Andreas, therefore, look to secure Route 68, Grand Senora or Desert Lago Zancudo. If you are planning to farm the Act II Finale, then consider the Paleto Bay Facility, this location provides the shortest travel time. For locations, no one upgrade is recommended over another. The sleeping quarters will be convenient for grinding the heist, otherwise the fan favourite is the Orbital Cannon (of course it is)!

The Doomsday Heist
Unlike the Apartment Heists, Doomsday is divided into three distinct acts. Each uniquely different to the last but all contributing to the overall narrative.
- Act I: The Data Breaches: Avon and Lester hire you and your crew to investigate a breach in the IAA network. Payout: $975,000 (Normal) to $1,218,750 (Hard).
- Act II: The Bogdan Problem: Working alongside Agent 14, the team realises they have been betrayed by Avon. He plans to use the AI called Clifford to do his bidding. The team must rescue the Russian and learn of Avon's next move. Payout: $1,425,000 (Normal) to $1,781,000 (Hard).
- Act III: The Doomsday Scenario: You wage all-out war with Avon and Clifford's strike team in Mount Chilliad, and fight your way into a bunker to eliminate Avon and dismantle his AI system to save the world. Payout: $1,800,000 (Normal) to $2,250,000 (Hard).

As you progress the Doomsday Heist, items from each act will appear around the facility. Note: These will appear for those who do the heist as an associate and then later buy their own facility.

Is the Facility worth it in 2026?
For money grinding or solo players, absolutely not. Doomsday requires 2 - 4 players and each Act can take several hours to complete. If you regularly play with a good crew and enjoy the challenge of heists, then it is a good purchase. Should you purchase one of the update themed vehicles, such as Chernobog, Thruster or Khanjali, the Facility will be required to store those vehicles.
