Introduction
Further expanding on the CEO and warehousing, the Import/Export update lets players purchase a vehicle warehouse and acquire, store and sell vehicles for decent profits. Building on the SecuroServ platform in the office, players can use it to source vehicles and start a range of new special vehicle missions.
Locations and Upgrades
In general, the best locations for the vehicle warehouse are La Mesa, La Puerta, and Davis. All of which are close to the highway and can be easily accessed from land and air. The interiors are all the same and all hold 40 vehicles maximum. Ultimately, sourcing and selling locations are randomised, so any location will do but those listed have been tried and tested for many years.
| Location | Price |
|---|---|
| La Mesa | $1,500,000 |
| El Burro Heights | $1,635,000 |
| Elysian Island | $1,950,000 |
| LSIA | $2,170,000 |
| LSIA | $2,300,00 |

| Cypress Flats | $2,675,000 |

Sourcing Vehicles
Like cargo, you will start your sourcing missions from the SecuroServ computer in the office or from any Master Control Terminal. The locations and vehicle type are often random but each mission takes roughly 10 minutes unless RNG is poor. These missions can be tough in the sense that, the more damage the vehicle takes, the more you pay at the end. That’s right, you pay for all damages to vehicle, even if your associate is driving and damages the car. Here are some tips to minimise damage when sourcing.
- Cargobob: If you own one or have stolen one, use it to pick the car up and deliver it to your warehouse. It will minimise the damage and can be used later when selling.
- Lester: This is one of the few times that his "Lose Wanted Level" ability actually works. As soon as you have the vehicle, give him a call to lose the wanted and save yourself the headache and a bunch of money.
The 32 Car Trick
Because each car you source is randomised between Standard Range, Mid Range and Top Range vehicles, this trick will ensure only Top-Range vehicles are sourced. The trick is to source exactly 10 Standard Range cars, 10 Mid Range cars and 12 Top Range cars, keeping the Standard and Mid Ranges vehicles parked inside your warehouse without selling them. Every single source mission from now on will be a guaranteed Top Range car. You source a Top Range car, immediately sell it, and the next source mission will replace it with another Top Range car. If you cross over 32 total cars the trick breaks and you will be assigned any version.
Selling Vehicles
To sell vehicles, you will go to the AdHawk computer at the warehouse and either sell one car or multiple (if you have associates). Always sell to the Specialist Dealer, as it provide the most profit. It costs $20,000 upfront to customize the car for a Specialist Dealer, but it returns a $100,000 payout, netting you $80,000 profit per solo car for 5 minutes of driving. There are two ways to complete sell missions.
- If you are playing solo and or in a lobby by yourself, you will need to fight four waves of NPCs. Start driving and pull up somewhere safe as soon as the red blips appear, remembering to run away from the car as they will significantly reduce its value with bullet holes. Now bunker down and prepare to fight off annoyingly accurate enemies. Once the four waves have been dealt with, carefully drive to the drop off and profit!
- If you have a friend or are selling in a public lobby, as long as there are other players not in your organisation, the NPCs will not spawn. Making the drive much calmer and quicker. If you are solo in the public lobby, make sure to use Ghost Organization before the global timer kicks in. As before, carefully drive and make the sale.
Is the Vehicle Warehouse worth it in 2026?
It really depends on where you are at in your career. This business is fun and challenging, paying pretty well for the effort required. However, other businesses within GTA Online offer plenty of other ways to make more money. Running this as a filler between heists and other activities can make an extra $80,000 - $100,000 for 10 minutes of work. Prioritise other businesses but definitely try this one out when you get the chance.
