Introduction
Released with the Bottom Dollar Bounties update, the Bail Office is a mixed bag with potential to be a worthy business if used right. You will team up with Maude's daughter, Jenette to take over their bounty hunting business. Aside from your every day criminals, each day a new "Most Wanted" bounty can be tackled for extra money. In addition to catching bounties, you will have two agents that can passively hunt their own bounties and contribute to the business safe.

Location and Upgrades
Bail Office locations should ideally be in the city, therefore, locations such as Mission Row or Downtown Vinewood are recommended choices. Because bounty hunting requires you to physically secure the target and drive them back to your cell block, having a central city office reduces travel time. While a good budget option, avoid Paleto Bay (unless you want to own all the businesses there), as you will have incredibly long travel times for most of the bounties.

There are two upgrades that you should consider, armour plating and the agents. The armour plating is cheap and is highly recommended as it makes it far tougher for NPCs to take you out. The agents are expensive but will earn you a solid $2,000 - $5,000 per 48 minutes (one in game day) when sent out, and they will reduce processing time of bounties. Invest in armour plating first and if you have the money get the agents.

Customization Price Description
Style Free - $145,000 Three slightly different styles that change the internal colours of the Bail Office.
Agents $750,000 (one agent) or $1,500,000 (two agents) Hefty price for beginners, wait until you have desposable money before purchasing. Is recommended as the second most important upgrade as they passively make money and reduce processing time for captured bounties.
Personal Quarters $295,000 Like other businesses, this allows you to spawn at the Bail Office. This is an optional purchase.
Gun Locker $175,000 By the time you purchase this you likely already have a Gun Locker, so it is an optional purchase.
Armor Plating $125,000 Highly recommended due to the protection it offers when returning bounties to the office. It is pretty cheap too, so why not?

Bounties
The main part of the business that you’ll be conducting with your Bail Office. There are three random targets that can be captured each hour. Each missions usually takes ten minutes to complete, and is conducted in free mode. For your efforts you will receive anywhere between $52,000-$60,000, depending on the target and if they are brought in alive. Should they die, you will only get $10,000. Each target will have an associated mission tied to them. None are particularly hard, although, some may require longer travel time.

Missions Type Description Bounties
Bank Robbery Track down and apprehend targets that are connected to a local bank heist. Kkangpae: Ricky Je, Tommy Li, LJ Ha
Prison Break A prison transport has been ambushed by the highway. You need to find and extract the bounty. Ballas: Cook Kenzie, Marquel Green, Colby Wright
CCTV Tracking Hijack and scout CCTV network feeds to locate the target and take them down while they try hiding. Lil Prince, Xavier Fredmon, Jalen Kennedy
Lost MC Clubhouse Fight your way through a Lost MC clubhouse and locate the target (who is usually at the very back of the workshop). Lost MC: Serenity Pierce, Angel Kennedy, Rylee Rose
Mansion Intimidation Cut power, destroy property and eliminate security to make the target surrender. Rich Women: Sabrina Gray, India Wood, Brigitte Foster
Arcade Shootout Clear out a well defended Duggan arcade to apprehend the target who hides in the office upstairs. Duggans: Beau Duggan, Bill Duggan, Hunter Duggan

For non-lethal takedowns, be sure to use a Stun Gun or take them down with a nightstick or your bare hands. It is worth the effort!
Blue boxes indicate the hourly bounties and the red box is the daily "Most Wanted". You will know in advance how much each target is worth and the associated mission.

Most Wanted Bounties
Most Wanted targets are longer, story driven missions that can be completed once per day. These missions are instanced and are tougher, but will pay $180,000 - $195,000 if the target is brought in alive, or $10,000 if killed. Depending on your luck, these targets can take 15 minutes to apprehend and deliver. Each target has a hidden item near them (like paintings, poker chips, or tech packages) that rewards you an additional $5,000 bonus.

Target Description & Operational Intel Hidden Bonus Item
Grace Whitney A high-profile CEO. Investigate a fake body at the morgue before raiding her gallery. Stolen Painting (+ $5,000)
Chaz Lieberman A street racer hiding in an underground meet. Expect a high-speed vehicle pursuit. Roulette Chips (+ $5,000)
Leroy O'Neil Operating out of a heavily defended rural meth farm. Clear the perimeter and breach. Meth Package (+ $5,000)
Brock Thompson A gym-bro enforcer utilizing a juggernaut suit. Requires heavy tactical pressure. Testosterone (+ $5,000)
Cleo Song A pop star traveling with an aggressive, heavily armed private security entourage. Pop Memorabilia (+ $5,000)
Omar Garcia A tech smuggler. Features advanced tracking mechanics and a rapid getaway attempt. Tech Component (+ $5,000)
The Burrito can take a solid beating! Just watch those side steps as they will catch on everything. Not great when comes to a grinding halt or spins out.

Agents
Yes, they grunt and moan when you ask them to work but over time they will build a tidy profit. Averaging $2,000 - $5,000 per call out per 48 minutes (one in game day), they will quickly fill the Bail Office safe over time, this is especially true if you are playing often. It is even better if you have an active GTA+ subscription as you can send them from the phone app, no eye contact needed.

Madrazo Hits
By purchasing the Bail Office, Madrazo will have a purple target marker on the map that lets you participate in “hits”, legal but not so legal assassination of people upsetting Madrazo. These are quick five minute jobs that have you kill a target, take a photo for Madrazo and escape, paying $30,000.

The purple crosshair on the map is a Madrazo Hit. You will get the same two messages every time you are close to the marker, regardless of how many times you have completed the hits.

Is the Bail Office worth it in 2026?
You will either love or hate this business mainly due to the large buy in and potential risk of minimal pay. As in the target was killed and you just wasted 10-15 minutes for $10,000. With that said, it can be a fun business to play around with once you get the hang of things. Considering the risk, I would put this as a low-medium priority for business purchases. Invest in other business such as the Kosatka, Bunker, Acid Lab or Agency, if you haven't already.
