Car Wash Business Guide

Introduction
With the Money Fronts update, players meet Mr Fabor, a well connected ābankerā and his associate, Raf, who offer new ways to launder dirty money. Raf will offer a series of new missions that have players assisting their other business associates, Yusuf, Tony Prince, etc. on behalf of Mr Fabor. In addition, three new businesses were made available, the Car Wash, Higgins Helitours and Smoke on the Water. To start operating the Car Wash businesses, meet Mr Madrazo at LSIA and watch the introductory cutscene.
Locations and Upgrades
Located in Strawberry, the Car Wash can be bought for $1,000,000 and is the first of the Money Fronts businesses that can be unlocked. The only upgrade is the ability to change the tint of the interior for $10,000. Owning a Car Wash lets you wash your vehicle for free, and provides a 35% bonus when selling the Counterfeit Cash Factory business.
Mr Fabor Work
You can start these missions from the Car Wash computer. There are six missions in this series, and must be completed in order. The reason I mention that is if you want to tackle a certain mission for the Career Challenges, you will need to cycle through them until you get the desired mission. They canāt be accessed from the Jobs menu. They pay the same as standard contact missions, anywhere from $25,000 - $35,000, this does not include the bonuses payouts. Each mission has a set of challenges that will pay additional money if complete, the payout varies from mission to mission.

Laundering Missions
From the Car Wash computer or by calling Raf, there are four laundering missions that can be undertaken at the Car Wash. All but the Stockade mission can be completed in 5 minutes and donāt require too much effort. Each mission will pay $35,000 and will be deposited into a bag in the back room of the Car Wash, after a short period of time.

| Steal the Rival's Cash | Raf will send you to a location where you will pick up explosives, from there head to the rival operation and take down the guards out front. Go inside, take out the remaining three enemies and start stealing the cash from the laundry machines. Set the explosives on the way out, wait for them to go off and lose the cops. Return to the Car Wash to complete the mission. |
| Torch the Rival Operations | Pick up the Molotov Cocktails that are marked on the map and then head to the rival operation. Destroy everyone out front and use the Molotovs to burn the stacks of cash. Head inside building and do the same thing, making sure to use the Molotov Cocktails to destroy the stacks of cash. After youāve done this, head back out and Raf will tell you that one of the money vans has escaped. Find the van, take it out and leave the area to complete this one. |
| Recover the Cash (Docks) | Travel to the location and use the photo Raf sent to identify the correct cargo container, spoiler, it is always the one surrounded by hostiles. There is normally three containers in the area of the hostiles. Fully or partially clear them out, and shoot the lock of the correct container. Wait for the car to roll out, get in and head to Hao (or your Salvage Yard, if you own one). Regardless of the location, once the car has been stripped, head back to the Car Wash and get paid. |
| Recover the Cash (Stockade) | Reach the location, dispatch the security team and don the GruppeSechs outfit. You will need to travel to three banks across Los Santos and Blaine County. After each bank, you will be attacked by a group of hostiles who can generally be dealt with pretty quickly. On the third bank, meet the bank manager, collect the money and return back to the Car Wash. |
Tips to skip the Stockade mission.
Letās be honest, this mission is long and kind of boring. To ensure you skip it every time, we will park some vehicles in the Stockade spawn point to make sure the game doesnāt offer the mission. The locations are seen below and this trick requires a couple of service vehicles, the Terrorbyte. Bail Office Burrito and a CEO Buzzard or Kosatka Sparrow. Park them in the defined points and you never pick this mission up. During normal gameplay, you probably wonāt need to do this but if you are grinding them out for the Career Challenge or its bonus week, do this!
Location 1: Park it in the gated garage.
Location 2: Park it in the open garage, is a car is present, push it out of the way.
Location 3: Park it just off the ramp.
Heat Mechanic and the Business Safe
A new feature that is exclusive to the Money Fronts businesses is the āheatā mechanic. Completing money laundering missions and having your business safe full of money will increase the heat on a business. If the business reaches full heat, you will need to complete a legal mission to remove the heat completely.
- Wash a car for the Car Wash (more on car washing below)
- Safely fly tourists to five locations for Higgins Heli Tours
- Deliver product to customers for Smoke on the Water
If you donāt remove the heat, that business wonāt earn any more money. You are free to ignore this but itās important to note that if you own majority, if not, all the other businesses, it will pay $30,000 every 48 minutes (one in game day). This is the second biggest passive safe behind the Nightclub. So, itās worth keeping the heat down. Car Wash (Legal Job)
For the Car Wash, you simply head to the customerās home, find the box that has the keys, unlock the car and drive to the Car Wash. Locations are random but will always be within Los Santos.
Wash the car and head back without damaging the vehicle. If you damage the car, you can have it repaired at the Car Wash for free. Whether returned in one piece or several, you will reduce the heat to your business by 100%. Look, you can power through this mission by not caring for the customerās car, as the extra $1,000 is not worth the time or effort. Floor it, wash it, and move on to the next job.
Is the Car Wash worth it in 2026?
Yes, if this is the only business you get from the Money Fronts update, youāll be well served with content and return on investment. Mr Fabor Work are fun to do, money laundering missions are easy enough and pay well, and the business safe is the second best in GTA Online. Of course make sure you own other priority businesses but for only $1,000,000, itās not a bad investment.
